Wow, have I got an update for you! Keiko has been busy as ever, and she’s had an amazing string of exhibitions starting this fall and she’s still going!
First up, she was in a two person exhibition at Project Basho in Philadelphia that featured her work from the series “Monadnock Street”. The show was titled Within Reach and ran from Oct. 14 – Nov. 23, 2011 and also featured the work of Tamaki Obuchi.
Keiko then had a solo show in Tokyo at Gallery Bauhaus from Nov. 1 – Dec. 24 titled Drag Queen 2011 and was even featured by the French magazine, “Photo” as a show to see in Tokyo! “I am happy to tell you that my show in Tokyo went superb: could not ask anything better

And to top it all off, she is included in a spectacular line up of photographers for the Gallery Bauhaus 5th Anniversary exhibition that runs from Jan. 11 – Mar. 31, 2012! Just to drop some names of who else is in the show…. Robert Frank, Robert Doisneau and Hiroshi Sugimoto! This is one of the two photographs that Keiko has in the exhibition:
